About

Born in March of 2026, OSIOU (pronounced O-SU) is a brand-new, good old-fashioned tech blog about Linux, open source, reviews, & tutorials. We provide news about distributions, software, open source, and the tech world as a whole.

In the era of A.I. and paywalled content, OSIOU was created to be a breath of fresh air with an old-school approach to the tech world: a simple tech blog. OSIOU is intended for both power users and the distro-curious and everyone in between.

OSIOU is not intended to compete with any other blogs or publications but more of an alternative source with supplemental information.

Our content will always be free and never behind a paywall.

Founded by me, Devon, a longtime Linux user but an expert in no one category. I’ve rounded out my Linux journey from starting with Ubuntu 20 years ago to running a full-time system using Linux From Scratch and everything in between.
